A Red Flag Warning remains in effect until 6 PM MST this evening for many counties in the Tri-State area. Outdoor burning is highly discouraged. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY... A cold front will move through the area Tuesday morning, ushering in northerly winds gusting 40 to 50 mph through the day along with decreasing temperatures from north to south. There will be a chance for rain and snow showers through Tuesday evening with little if any accumulation currently expected at this time. Isolated instances of blowing dust cannot be ruled out in the morning as the cold front moves through. On Friday, there will be a brief window in the mid to late afternoon hours for elevated to near critical fire weather conditions to occur generally west of Highway 27. On Saturday, near critical to potentially critical fire weather conditions are forecast for locations generally west of Highway 27. Outdoor burning is highly discouraged. Finally, on Sunday, near critical to potentially critical fire weather conditions are currently forecast across the entire Tri-State area.
