Light to moderate snowfall amounts between 3-12 inches could occur for the northern mountains. 2-6 inches will be possible across the foothills and eastward to the nearby plains, and some localized areas may exceed that. The heaviest snow is expected during the evening hours, so prepare for hazardous travel for the evening commute across I-25 and I-70. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Light snow is expected to move into the mountains Sunday afternoon and Sunday night, possibly producing slick roads.
