This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TONIGHT... Light to moderate snow is falling across portions of the Tri-State area. The snow will end by early Sunday morning. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Cheyenne and Kit Carson counties in Colorado where new snowfall of 1-4 inches is forecasted with the highest amounts across western portions of each county. Patchy freezing fog in locations with little to no snow falling has been reported and is expected to continue into the morning Sunday. Fog is expected to remain west of Kansas Highway 25. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY... Patchy to locally dense freezing fog could linger into the mid-morning Sunday, mainly along and west of Kansas Highway 27. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is requested.
