This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TONIGHT... A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for counties along and east of a line from Hitchcock to Gove counties. Visibility as low as a quarter of a mile has been reported. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY... Strong south southwest winds will affect much of the area during the day on Wednesday. Sustained winds ranging from 30 to 40 mph and gusts up to 55 mph are expected during the late morning and afternoon hours. Wind of this magnitude will create hazardous travel conditions, especially on west east routes such as Interstate 70, where cross winds will be strongest. High profile vehicles are most at-risk.
