YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect starting this evening and lasting through tomorrow morning. Freezing fog and freezing drizzle will expand from east to west across the area and become widespread through the night. Visibility reductions to a quarter of a mile or less are likely as well as a light glaze of ice on elevated and exposed surfaces.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  Freezing fog is expected to last through the morning hours and potentially through the entire day Tuesday. Freezing drizzle may mix in and increase the chance for light ice accumulations.  A light wintry mix of freezing rain and snow is possible late Tuesday night through Wednesday. At this time, ice accumulations of less than a tenth of an inch are expected and snow amounts, if any, of less than one inch. Be prepared for slick spots on roads.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not needed, but any visibility or ice reports are appreciated!
