YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Patchy freezing fog will develop tonight and linger through the morning hours in areas east of line from Haigler, Nebraska to Gove, Kansas. There could be a few patches that are dense with visibility near a quarter of a mile. Persistent or widespread dense fog is not forecasted at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  Northerly wind gusts up to 45-50 MPH are forecast for Thursday afternoon. Yuma county and adjacent counties will see the windiest conditions. Widespread gusts up to 35-40 MPH are also expected.  A Wind Chill Advisory has been issued for Thursday night for the northeastern portion of the area. Wind chills are expected to approach 20 below zero. Similar, or colder temperatures are expected Friday night.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be required.
