WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Hazardous travel conditions are possible along mountain passes as the combination of light to moderate snowfall and wind gusts up 50-55 mph may create blowing snow and slick roads through this evening.  Snow bands across the plains this morning could lead to 1-2 inch snowfall totals and slick roads. There is a low (10-20%) chance a few spots could receive up to 3 inches if bands become stationary.  Dangerous wind chills are possible today and tonight between -20 to -35.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday  Frigid conditions will continue through Tuesday morning, as low temperatures drop well below zero. Wind chill readings during this period will be dangerously cold, with frostbite potential on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes. Temperatures will begin to moderate across the plains by Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday. Another round of snow and wind will occur in the mountains later Wednesday into Thursday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter reports of snowfall will be appreciated.
