WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...BITTER COLD AND DANGEROUSLY COLD WIND CHILLS CONTINUE...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Dangerously cold wind chills continue today as cold air brings wind chill readings as low as 35 below zero across the plains. Allow extra time for travel as roads may be slick and snow covered. Snow should end across the plains late morning.  For the mountains and valleys, snow intensity should ease this morning and a short break in snow will likely occur through this afternoon. Areas of blowing snow and slick roads are likely for the mountain passes through tonight. Another round of moderate snowfall begins overnight tonight.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  Periods of moderate to heavy snowfall will occur in the mountains Sunday into Monday with light to moderate snow in the valleys. Light snow will be possible across portions of the plains on Sunday. A better chance of light snow will occur on Monday across the plains.  Frigid conditions will Sunday through Tuesday morning, as low temperatures drop well below zero. Wind chill readings during this period will be dangerously cold, with frostbite potential on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes. Temperatures will begin to moderate across the plains by Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter reports of snowfall or high winds will be appreciated.
