YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 8 AM MST/ 9AM CST this morning for the entire Tri State area. Wind chills of 15 below to around 20 below are expected.  A Wind Chill Warning is in effect for the entire Tri State area tonight into next Tuesday morning. Wind chill readings of 25 below to 30 below are possible tonight through Saturday morning.  Light snow, blowing at times, is possible this evening, mainly along and north of I-70 and west of Highway 83. Visibility reductions to a few miles or less are possible.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  A Wind Chill Warning remains in effect for the entire Tri State area from tonight into next Tuesday morning. Wind chill readings of 25 below to 40 below are possible mainly at night. Maximum wind chill temperatures are forecast to be below -10F Saturday through Monday. Occasional light snow will also occur during that time, but significant accumulations are not currently anticipated.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be required. Spotters are encouraged however to report snowfall accumulation or reductions in visibility in blowing snow to NWS Goodland via phone or social media.
