Patchy blowing snow is possible today as westerly winds increase to 20 to 30 mph with gusts over 40 mph at times over the Tri State area. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY... Light snow will accompany an Arctic front on Thursday. Accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected with the highest amounts from McCook to Hill City Thursday afternoon and evening. Another round of light snow is possible on Sunday. A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for Thursday night into Friday morning for the entire Tri State area. Wind chills of 15 below to almost 20 below are expected. A Wind Chill Watch is in effect for the entire Tri State area from Friday night into next Tuesday morning.
