YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Some patchy blowing snow may redevelop on Wednesday as westerly winds increase to 20 to 30 mph with gusts over 40 mph at times.  Light snow will accompany an Arctic front on Thursday. Currently, accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected with the highest amounts from McCook to Hill City Thursday afternoon and evening. Another round of light snow is possible on Sunday.  Bitterly cold air will become entrenched across the area beginning Friday and continuing into early next week. Wind chills of 15 to 25 below will occur each morning beginning Friday and continuing through Tuesday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight.
