YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Norton, Decatur, Rawlins, Sherman, Thomas, Sheridan, Gove, Logan, Wallace, Greeley, Wichita and Graham counties Monday through early Tuesday morning. Strong north winds gusting around 50-60 mph is expected to bring blizzard to near blizzard conditions to the area along with heavy accumulating snowfall.  A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Dundy and Yuma counties Monday morning through Tuesday morning for blowing snow and accumulating snowfall.  A Winter Storm Watch currently remains for Cheyenne county in Kansas along with Cheyenne and Kit Carson counties in Colorado and Hitchcock and Red Willow counties in Nebraska.  An Arctic airmass in Canada will surge southward into the Northern and Central Plains late next week into next weekend, bringing well below normal temperatures and dangerously cold wind chill readings to the region.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
