YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the entire Tri State area from 11 AM MST or Noon CST today to 11 AM MST or Noon CST Friday. A mix of freezing drizzle, freezing fog and light accumulating snow will impact area travel. Please use caution on area roadways. Raised surfaces already have a glaze of ice on them and could impact travel.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Friday morning, with light snow being the precipitation type. Light accumulations are expected before tapering off.  There is a chance for an impactful winter storm to affect the region early next week with accumulating snow and gusty winds. Blowing snow is a concern for Monday.
