YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the entire Tri State area from 11 AM MST or Noon CST today to 11 AM MST or Noon CST Friday. A mix of freezing drizzle, freezing fog and light accumulating snow will impact area travel. Please use caution on area roadways. Raised surfaces already have a glaze of ice on them and could impact travel.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Friday morning, with light snow being the precipitation type. Light accumulations are expected before tapering off.  There is a chance for an impactful winter storm to affect the region early next week with accumulating snow and gusty winds. Blowing snow is a concern for Monday. Please continue to watch for forecast updates as they become available.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected. We would appreciate any reports of freezing precipitation, snow, and dense fog via telephone and social media.
