YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for the entire Tri-state area through 11 AM MST or Noon CST. Freezing fog will likely be dense at times with visibilities of one quarter mile or less. With temperatures well below freezing, the fog is depositing a thin glaze of ice on raised surfaces, potentially affecting area travel.  A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for areas east of the Colorado Kansas border from 11 AM MST or Noon CST today to 11 AM MST or Noon CST Friday. A mix of freezing drizzle and light accumulating snow will impact area travel. Please use caution on area roadways.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  There is a chance for an impactful winter storm to affect the region early next week with accumulating snow and gusty winds. Blowing snow is a concern for Monday.
