YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Blizzard Warning remains in effect from this afternoon through Wednesday morning for Red Willow, Hitchcock, Dundy counties in Nebraska. In Kansas, Cheyenne, Rawlins, Decatur, Norton, Graham, Sheridan, Thomas, Sherman. In Colorado, Yuma, Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Wallace, Logan, Gove, Greeley and Wichita counties in Kansas.  Areas of light to moderate snow are forecasted to occur across the area this afternoon, occasionally dropping visibility to near a mile and providing light snow accumulations.  Winds are forecasted to strengthen late this afternoon and into the evening with gusts reaching 40 to 45 mph. Snow is also forecasted to become more consistent. The combination of new snowfall and strong winds are expected to create blizzard conditions and make travel difficult to impossible.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  Tuesday, blizzard conditions are expected to continue through the day with additional snowfall and winds gusting up to 60 mph. Travel will remain difficult to impossible for most of the area.  Wednesday, blizzard conditions may continue through the morning with winds gusting around 30 to 40 mph, leading to blowing snow where there is snowpack.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
