A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for counties generally along and north of Interstate 70 from Christmas afternoon until early Wednesday. Another round of snow moving in from the east is possible starting Christmas afternoon while wind gusts generally remain above 35 mph. This may allow blizzard conditions to form as early as Christmas afternoon and persist into early Wednesday. Any blizzard conditions along with additional snowfall will make travel hazardous, if not dangerous.
