This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight A storm system will exit the region later today with snow gradually ending over the plains by midday. Gusty north winds will continue to produce blowing snow and poor visbility, especailly across the northeast plains and Palmer Divide. Conditions should improve by early afternoon. Over the higher terrain periods of light snow will continue today through tonight. However, additional accumulations will be on the light side. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Mostly dry Monday aside from lingering snow showers in the eastern plains. Strengthening north winds in the plains through the day. By Monday night, increasing potential for second round of snow in the northeast plains, with some uncertainty in location. However, with strong north winds intensifying overnight into Tuesday morning, blowing snow could be widespread and lead to near blizzard or blizzard conditions. This could result in dangerous travel conditions along I-76 east of Morgan County if current trends hold. Otherwise, drying and modest warming trend through the remainder of the week with little in the way of hazardous conditions. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
