WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  No hazardous weather is expected.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  The next storm will bring snow to the mountains, and a mix of rain and snow to the plains by Saturday afternoon. Snow is expected Saturday night into Sunday evening. The snow will mainly be light, but there could be some areas of moderate snow later Saturday night into Sunday morning. The highest snowfall amounts will likely occur in the mountains and foothills, with less accumulations over the plains. Differences between the various models and within the model runs themselves continue with this system. So at this time, significant snowfall amounts are not certain to occur. However, there should be enough snow to impact holiday travel Saturday night into Monday with slick winter driving conditions.  For Monday through Thursday, there will be a few snow showers over the high mountains early in the week, otherwise dry conditions are expected.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
