This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... Dry conditions and breezy northwest winds will foster near critical fire weather conditions over portions of the area late this morning and early this afternoon, mainly along and west of Kansas Highway 27. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY... Light precipitation will develop in eastern Colorado Friday morning and spread eastward into adjacent Kansas and Nebraska border areas during the afternoon. Light snow accumulation is expected over western portions of Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado, where snow will begin late Friday morning and end by sunrise on Saturday. To the east in Kansas and Nebraska, where temperatures are anticipated to remain above freezing and precipitation (if any) will predominately fall as rain during the day on Friday, no accumulation or impacts are presently expected. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
