YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  Much below normal temperatures are expected across the area Saturday through Sunday night. Wind chill readings Saturday night through Sunday morning and Monday night through Tuesday morning are expected to generally be in the single digits above zero. The coldest wind chills in the single digits above and below zero are anticipated Sunday night through Monday morning.  A wintry mix of precipitation is anticipated generally south of the Kansas Nebraska border Saturday through Sunday. Across Yuma, Dundy and Hitchcock counties, snowfall amounts of one to four inches are currently forecast. Travel impacts are likely.  For Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, elevated fire weather conditions are possible across far eastern Colorado.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
