YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Patchy fog and low stratus will continue through the morning hours and begin to clear after 10 AM MDT (11 AM CDT). Visibilities under a half of a mile are expected.  Patchy fog and stratus return this evening and is expected to continue through Thursday morning.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  Fog should continue through the morning hours on Thursday and begin to clear after 9 AM MDT (10 AM CDT). Visibilities under a half of a mile are possible.  Well below normal temperatures are likely starting around Friday/Saturday. Wind chills could fall into the single digits during the overnight to early morning hours over the weekend.  The Tri-State Area sees increasing chances for rain and snow precipitation on Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning. Please watch for future forecast updates as they become available. Temperatures should slowly increase, yet remain below normal early next week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not currently anticipated.
