YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A High Wind Warning remains in effect for the entire Tri-State area through the mid afternoon hours. Wind gusts up to 60 mph are possible during this time, especially east of the Colorado border. Some blowing dust is possible especially near open or recently harvested fields through the early afternoon.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  A Freeze Warning is in effect for Yuma, Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado along with Greeley, Wallace, Sherman and Cheyenne counties in Kansas. A hard freeze is likely especially across east Colorado.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
