WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  It will be windy again today across the eastern plains with wind gusts of 40 to 45 mph. By early afternoon, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to form. Strong gusty outflow winds will accompany some the showers and storms. A few storms could be severe with wind gusts to around 60 mph.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday  Tuesday and Wednesday, coverage and intensity of showers will decrease. We may get light snowfall with minimal accumulation around the peaks of our southern mountains.  Thursday through the period, we may see our first frost of the season in a few of our plains zones.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
