WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Elevated fire conditions will be in place this afternoon along the I-25 Corridor, Palmer Divide and southeast Plains due to gusty southwest winds and low humidity levels. Gusty winds will also occur over the higher terrain as well. There will be a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly over the far northeast plains.  For tonight, there will be a chance of showers in the northern mountains with a slight chance of thunderstorms over the far northeast plains. Late tonight, strong winds may develop over the normal windy areas of the mountains and foothills with gusts up to 70 mph possible.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  There will be a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms on Friday, mainly along the northern border. Warm, dry and breezy conditions will result in elevated fire weather conditions in and near South Park and the southern Front Range Foothills. Dry the rest of the period with near normal temperatures through the weekend, then back above normal next week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
