WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will develop over the mountains this afternoon and continue through the evening hours. Expect only brief light to moderate rain and gusty winds with the showers.  Expect low clouds and patchy fog across the Palmer Divide early this morning. The plains will remain generally dry today with warm temperatures.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Widespread showers and storms are expected Thursday afternoon through much of Friday. Some of these storms may produce heavy rainfall with up to 2 inches of storm total rainfall possible. There will be an enhanced threat of burn area flash flooding on Thursday afternoon over the Cameron Peak burn area. Warmer and drier conditions are expected Saturday through early next week with no weather hazards.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
