This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop in the high country this afternoon and continue through most of the overnight. A few showers and storms may also make it into the foothills during the late afternoon and evening. A few storms over the higher terrain may be capable of producing heavy rainfall, leading to a limited threat for flash flooding over the burn areas. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Significant rainfall is expected on Friday afternoon and evening with most areas receiving 1-3" of rain. Some locations will see higher amounts which will lead to flash flooding. The burn areas and flood prone areas on the plains and Denver metro have the best chance to see flooding. Saturday and Sunday will see scattered afternoon storms with locally heavy rainfall. A warmer and drier period is expected during next work week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
