This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... No hazardous weather is expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY... Showers and thunderstorms are expected across the region beginning Friday afternoon and going into the night. Areas along and north of Interstate 70 as well as east of Kansas Highway 27 currently see a marginal risk for severe weather on Friday with strong wind gusts being the primary storm hazard. Flash flooding may also be possible on Friday evening and going through the overnight hours into Saturday as there is a marginal to slight risk for excessive rainfall within the Tri-State Area.
