WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop in the high country this afternoon with a few moving off the foothills in the late afternoon and evening. A few storms over the higher terrain may be capable of producing heavy rainfall thus leading to a low/limited threat for flash flooding over the burn areas.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  Moisture increases substantially on Friday with widespread showers and thunderstorms capable of producing heavy rain developing Friday afternoon and evening, continuing into Saturday morning. There will be a threat of flash flooding Friday and Friday night especially over the burn areas as well as flood prone areas on the plains including the urban areas across the I-25 corridor. Saturday and Sunday will see scattered afternoon storms with locally heavy rainfall.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
