This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop over the mountains this afternoon, with a few moving off the foothills in the late afternoon and evening. Most of the showers will only produce light rain, but wind gusts up to 45 mph are possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Moisture gradually increases from west to east Thursday into Friday. This will increase the chances and coverage of showers and thunderstorms. Friday will have the highest chances for widespread precipitation and locally heavy rainfall. This increases the threat for flash flooding over the burn areas and even potentially flood prone areas on the plains. Saturday poses a similar threat with locally heavy rainfall. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
