YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  A Heat Advisory is in effect on Saturday from noon through 8 PM CDT for Decatur, Norton, Sheridan, Graham and Gove counties. Heat index values up to 105 degrees are expected. Additionally, record and near record high temperatures are forecast for Goodland, Hill City, McCook and Burlington.  Elevated to Near Critical fire weather conditions are anticipated across the Tri-State area each day from Sunday through Tuesday. Caution should be used if burning outdoors.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
