This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop over the mountains and foothills this afternoon. A couple storms could produce brief moderate to heavy rain, as well as gusty winds to around 45 mph. One or two storms could inch eastward into portions of the I-25 Urban Corridor late in the afternoon or early evening. No storms are expected over the northeast plains. Temperatures will still be slightly cooler than yesterday, but still above normal. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Scattered thunderstorms and showers will develop in the mountains each afternoon on Friday, Saturday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. A limited flash flood threat could occur over the burn areas. A few showers and storms could cross into the plains but very little thunderstorm activity is expected.
