WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Very warm temperatures will prevail this afternoon with highs reaching the upper 90s across northeast Colorado. A few locations may top 100. High-based showers and a few storms are expected over and near the higher terrain. Any rainfall will be light, but strong gusty outflow winds are expected.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected over the mountains and high valleys through the period. There will be a limited threat for burn area flash flooding Friday through Tuesday.  Over the plains, mainly isolated showers and thunderstorms are excepted, at least over the western half, with almost no chance over the eastern half of the plains.  Temperatures are expected to be above seasonal normals, however record high readings are not very likely.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
