This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight A cold front will move through eastern Colorado this morning with gusty winds behind it. Gusts could reach 50 mph across northern Weld County and areas near Limon this morning with other areas across the plains seeing gusts up to 40 mph. A few light showers and storms will form mainly across South Park, the southern foothills, and the Palmer Divide. There is a minimal chance of flash flooding in the burn areas and no severe weather is expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Thunderstorm activity this week will be very limited and mainly over the central Colorado mountains. Some increase in thunderstorms is expected in the mountains Friday and onto the plains next weekend. This will bring a gradual increase in the threat of burn area flooding. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
