YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  There remains a risk for some strong storms this evening to impact portions of the area, especially south of the Interstate and east of Highway 25. Scattered storms will be capable of producing locally strong wind gusts and small hail.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  A cold front is forecasted to move through the area on Sunday. With the frontal passage, stronger winds from the north with gusts up to 50 mph and some patchy blowing dust is possible. Severe storms would be possible if the front moves through the area during the afternoon hours instead of the morning hours. Large hail and damaging wind gusts would be the main threats if the severe weather did occur.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be required.
