WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will develop this afternoon over the mountains. A few of the storms could drift off the foothills onto the plains in the late afternoon and evening hours. Most of the showers will only produce light rain, but gusty winds up to 45 mph are possible, and small hail is possible with a few of the stronger storms in the mountains. No thunderstorms are expected over the far northeast plains today.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  Most days during the long term period will have isolated to scattered storms form during the afternoon and evenings. The storms will have much better coverage over the mountains and higher terrain than the plains. A limited flash flood threat will exist over the recent burn areas each day. On Sunday, a cold front will bring wind gusts up to 40 mph across the plains. It is possible that by the middle to end of next week, high temperatures will reach the mid to upper 90s across the plains.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
