YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  A Severe Thunderstorm Watch continues for counties along and north of an Atwood to Norton line through 1 AM CDT. The hazards will be gusts up to 70 MPH and hail up to ping- pong ball size. Confidence is higher that the wind gusts will be the primary hazard with these storms.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible during the afternoon and evening hours on Saturday. Possible hazards include large hail, damaging wind gusts and heavy rainfall.  Storms, including severe storms, remain possible for much of the next week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be needed.
