This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to develop across the northeast plains this afternoon, mainly east of Fort Morgan and Limon. Wind gusts to 70 mph, golf ball sized hail, and localized heavy rainfall are possible in this area between 3 PM and 7 PM. Further west, only isolated storms are expected, with lightning and wind gusts to 50 mph the main threats. One or two storms with hail the size of quarters is possible as far west as the I-25 corridor. Brief heavy rain is possible, but the threat of burn area flooding is low. The thunderstorms will end from west to east in the evening hours. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Thunderstorm coverage will be less through the weekend. A few severe storms will be possible mainly over the Palmer Divide on Saturday. There will be a limited threat of flash flooding in the burn scars this weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
