YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible this evening coming into the area from northeast and southeast Colorado, dissipating around or shortly after midnight MDT (1 AM CDT).  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  A Heat Advisory remains in effect for locations east of a line from McCook to Oakley Friday afternoon and evening. Heat index values up to 107 degrees are expected.  Friday evening, isolated to scattered thunderstorms may move into the Tri-State area from the west or northwest. The main threat with these storms will be wind gusts up to 70 MPH. It is possible that blowing dust could develop on any thunderstorm outflows.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
