YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Afternoon highs will climb into the 90s with heat indices near 100 for eastern portions of the area, including parts of Norton, Graham, and Gove counties.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  A slight chance of strong to severe storms exists across Yuma, Kit Carson, Dundy, and Cheyenne county Kansas a few hours before sunrise Thursday. If storms do form large hail and strong winds would be possible with the strongest cells.  Additional chances for severe storms continues for most of the area Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon.
