WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...SEVERE STORMS POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  A few severe thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and track southeast across the plains through early evening. Large hail to golfball size or slightly larger will be possible with the strongest storms. There will also be a threat of a couple tornadoes, mostly along a convergence zone that is expected to develop just to the south and east of Denver from around Parker to near Watkins.  The main severe storm threat will occur along the I-25 Corridor and adjacent plains to Greeley and Fort Morgan from 3 pm to 6 pm, and then east/southeast across the Limon area and Lincoln County from 5 pm to 8 pm.  Thunderstorms will also produce very heavy rain, with localized flooding possible of streets and underpasses, small creeks, and streams.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  An isolated storm or shower could occur across the Palmer Divide or plains Monday or Wednesday afternoon. Otherwise, a drier and warmer period will occur.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will likely be required after 2 pm.
