YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Fog will occasionally reduce visibilities below one mile this morning. Please use caution if traveling in these conditions.  There is a Marginal risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening for those along and west of a line from Vona to Syracuse. The primary hazards include hail up to one inch in diameter and wind gusts to 60 mph.  There is a Marginal risk of excessive rainfall through the overnight hours for those along and west of a line from Clarkville to Gove.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  For Thursday through Thursday night, there is a Marginal risk of severe thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening hours for locations west of a line from Yuma to Tribune. All modes of severe weather are possible including large hail, damaging winds, a few tornadoes. The entire Tri-State area is under a Marginal risk for excessive rainfall which could produce flooding or flash flooding.  For Friday through Friday night, there is a Marginal risk of severe thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening hours for those along and west of a line from Haigler to Tribune. The threat for excessive rainfall and flooding or flash flooding continues.  For the periods Saturday through Tuesday, chances for showers and thunderstorms continues. Although severe weather cannot be ruled out, the primary concerns at this time continue to be locally heavy rainfall and the possibility of flooding and flash flooding.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
