WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Rain showers will plains and foothills through this evening. The heaviest rainfall is expected west of Interstate 25 and into the foothills. There is a limited threat of flooding in the Cameron Peak burn area as showers will be slow moving. Other rivers and streams can expect increased flows but flooding is not expected at this time.  Areas of fog will accompany the showers and could reduce visibility at times today, especially in the foothills.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  There will be a chance for showers and thunderstorms through the week. A couple stronger storms will be possible late Tuesday and again on Wednesday over the northeast plains. By Thursday, more widespread showers and thunderstorms will be possible as a cold front and upper level disturbance arrive.  Rivers and streams are expected to be running high due to the recent rainfall. Avoid activities in/near fast moving water.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However, any reports of significant rainfall will be appreciated.
