YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Locally heavy rainfall will be possible north of Interstate 70 through this morning, where a Flood Watch remains in effect until noon MDT/1 PM CDT.  While the overall risk for severe storms today is low, a brief weak tornado cannot be ruled out near any stronger thunderstorm that develops. This low risk will be for areas north of Interstate 70 through this afternoon.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  Thunderstorm chances return to the area by the middle of next week. A few severe storms may be possible in the afternoon and evening hours beginning on Tuesday and continuing through the rest of the week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
