There is a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms across northwest Kansas Thursday afternoon and evening. The primary hazards include large hail and damaging winds. Thunderstorms are also possible during the afternoon and overnight hours Friday through Sunday. At this time, the primary hazard will be cloud to ground lightning. Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are possible Saturday afternoon through early evening for locations south of a line from Joes, Colorado to Leoti, Kansas.
