WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Drier northerly breezes will prevail today, with the strongest gusts of 30 to 40 mph over the plains east of I-25. Due to last night's snowfall, a few slick spots will be possible on roads early this morning in the mountains and foothills.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  A ridge of high pressure over the region will bringing a prolonged period of warmer weather through the middle of next week. There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly over the higher terrain, each afternoon and evening starting on Sunday. By the middle of next week, that chance will spread eastward onto the plains.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
