YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  There is a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms along and south of a line from Hill City to Boyero in the 5 PM MDT (6 PM CDT) to 9 PM MDT (10 PM CDT) time frame. The primary hazards are wind gusts to 60 mph and hail up to one inch in diameter.  Light snow accumulations will be possible tonight into Saturday morning in northeast Colorado and west of Highway 25 in northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska. Any accumulations are expected to be up to a few tenths of an inch and mainly on elevated and grassy surfaces.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  Near Critical to Critical fire weather conditions are forecast Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday afternoon for the entire Tri-State area.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
