YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Near critical to critical fire weather conditions this afternoon along and west of Highway 27.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado along with Sherman, Wallace, Logan, Greeley and Wichita counties in Kansas for Tuesday. The remainder of the area will see near critical to locally critical fire weather conditions.  Fire weather concerns continue Wednesday and Thursday for most of the area. Any burning is discouraged.  Near record to record high temperatures are possible Tuesday and Wednesday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
