YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  A Fire Weather Watch is in effect for Friday afternoon and early evening for the following counties: In Colorado, Kit Carson and Cheyenne. In Kansas, Sherman, Wallace, Greeley and Wichita. Southerly winds gusting 35 to 45 mph combine with relative humidity values falling into the lower teens to around 20 percent. Outdoor burning should be avoided.  Near Critical fire weather conditions are possible Saturday afternoon for areas east of a line from Hill City to Oakley KS.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight.
