WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Light snow showers will begin in the mountains this morning then pushing eastward across the foothills to the plains by this afternoon. The highest accumulations should focus in the higher elevations in Park Range of 2-3 inches but elsewhere, the I-25 corridor and Palmer Divide trends between T-2 inches. Slick roads are possible during the PM commute along I-25 and I-70 starting late afternoon into early evening. Tonight, drier conditions are expected by midnight.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  A prolonged warming trend with dry weather will start Thursday, and continue through early next week with much above normal temperatures by then.  Fire weather conditions may be elevated Saturday, and then again early next week with breezy, but not windy, conditions.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed. Any reports of snow accumulation will be appreciated.
