WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM MDT THURSDAY FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE PALMER DIVIDE AND DENVER METRO AREA...FIRE WEATHER ZONES 240...241...246...AND 247...  ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON THURSDAY TO NOON MDT FRIDAY...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Thursday, expect warm, dry and breezy weather with elevated to critical fire weather conditions likely on the Palmer Divide and adjacent plains including the greater Denver area. A Red Flag Warning is in effect, see the headlines.  Widespread snowfall is likely across the high country Thursday afternoon through Friday, with several inches of accumulation and slick travel conditions at times. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Park Range, including Rabbit Ears Pass, from noon Thursday through noon Friday. The plains will see a chance of rain showers changing to snow showers Thursday night into Friday morning.  After dry weather Saturday, snow may return to portions of the high country toward Sunday or Monday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
